What are strip drains?
Strip drains are linear structures that collect and convey water away from an area. They are often referred to as linear drains, trough drains, trench drains, or channel drains. Strip drains are typically made of concrete, plastic, stainless steel or metal and can be installed above or below ground. They are commonly used to collect and convey water from outdoor areas, bathrooms and showers, driveways, pools, or commercial drainage. Strip drains can also be used to relieve hydrostatic pressure in walls and foundations by allowing water to flow through them rather than build up behind the structure.
